Date, Time & Venue

Programme Highlights

EKO-soil is an enzyme-based soil stabilizer. It is an organic product made in the United States, and marketed as EKO-soil in Australia. It is non-hazardous, non-toxic, and biodegradable. Therefore, it is environmentally friendly. It changes the structure of the soil to make it strong and impermeable. It can be applied to road surfaces by simple steps to build strong and durable dirt roads. Alternatively, it can be used to construct road base. The biotechnological product has been used successfully in Australia for more than a decade. The speaker will introduce the application of the biotechnology in road construction and geotechnical engineering in this seminar, share his practical experience, and discuss the possible use of the innovative technology in Hong Kong and China.
